sometimes the best things are unexpected 🌻

a little Why DZ Wednesday with MC 26’ duo Ava & Corynne 🧸

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude thinking about how fulfilling our experience in DZ has been in such a short amount of time. Ever since meeting each other on bid day, we instantly clicked, and developed a friendship we will cherish for a lifetime. Going into summer, we were so sad to miss seeing each other everyday, whether we were going to events, getting food, walking together, or hanging out at each others dorms.

When the semester was over we were excited to find out our hometowns weren’t too far from each other and it would be easy to visit over the summer. One thing we love about DZ is the opportunity to meet so many amazing people from other areas, and getting to visit them. Even though it’s hard missing everyone over summer, it has shown us how extremely lucky we are to go back to a place that feels like home in just a couple weeks. We couldn’t be more excited to live a few doors down from each other and with truly the best group of girls.

It was very daunting for the both of us going into college not knowing very many people. However we feel so blessed to have met each other and the perfect group of girls we feel so much love from and for. We cannot wait to grow alongside each other throughout college, and everything to follow!”
