Part 2 | What I Wish I Knew Series

I’m asking athletes one question: What do you wish you knew sooner about playing softball seriously?

I love this response because when you’re in the middle of practices, games, and chasing your goals, it’s easy to forget just how special the opportunity is. The long days, the early mornings, the pressure…one day you’ll look back and miss it all.

Ava’s perspective is such an important reminder: be grateful for where you are right now. The opportunity to compete at a high level is something many athletes dream about but never get the chance to experience.

A normal day for you could be someone else’s dream.

Don’t rush through it. Enjoy it. Be where your feet are. And never take the opportunity for granted.
