Labor Day Weekend on Nantucket ☀️🇺🇸 🌊

Whether Labor Day marks the end of your Nantucket summer or the beginning of your favorite Locals summer days on island, there’s still plenty of time to soak it all in.

Move your body. Pack something nourishing for the beach. Get outside. Put your phone away. Stay for sunset. Go out to dinner. Have the ice cream. Spend time with the people you love. 🤍

Because wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly — it’s about finding a balance that allows you to feel good while still enjoying your life.

So wherever this long weekend takes you, end summer on a high note and make the most of every last bit of it. 🌊

And if you’re looking for a little guidance along the way, The Wellness Concierge is here to help you create a wellness routine that fits into your life — not the other way around!

Happy Early Labor Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

Meet Ava ☼

Hi everyone! I’m Ava Item, and I’m so excited to be joining Katie and The Wellness Concierge this summer as a Wellness & Marketing Intern.

I’m going into my senior year this fall studying Exercise Science at the College of Charleston and this my second summer working in town here on Nantucket! I grew up in Barnstable on Cape Cod and spent my summers coming over to Nantucket, so getting to spend another season on island is really exciting!

I was drawn to Katie and The Wellness Concierge because of her natural approach to wellness, her passion for helping people feel their best in a way that fits real life, and her deep love for Nantucket.

A little about me — I’m the middle of three girls, I love to travel (in the past six months I’ve been lucky enough to visit Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, France, and Italy), and I love anything involving the ocean and dogs (just like Katie). 😆

This summer I’ll be helping with content, community, the Surf Sirens surf camp, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to build a thoughtful wellness business rooted in movement, connection, and island life.

I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside Katie, learn from her, and help share more of what The Wellness Concierge stands for this season.

Looking forward to sharing the summer with you all ☼
