Joe and I are heading home from the @utmequestrian blue and orange scrimmage. First meet of the season and the start of Ava’s senior year. We pulled the camper and will store it in Tennessee to use for the 2026-2027 season and Ava’s graduation. (gulp) If you have ever owned a travel trailer the first few pics should come as no surprise. Luckily, we caught a low tire while fueling and avoided a roadside blow out. Time goes by so incredibly fast. Just a year ago UTM and the Skyhawks were all new to us and now they feel like family. Watching Ava and the team not only do their sport but put in ALL THE WORK that goes on behind the scenes to run a smooth successful meet. Ava and her teammate rode a brand spanking new to them horse, Kit. Kit arrived the night before. They both had beautiful rides working out a few Kit kinks. Saturday night the team put on a fundraiser social. Again, the maturity and organization from 20ish year olds, is phenomenal. After the social Joe and I watched them take care of all the horses (horse parade back to their stables), clean up and dismantle all after their 4:30am wake up. In two weeks we head to Delaware where the Skyhawks will compete against Delaware State and Baylor.

These kids have changed my life. Being born into a war torn country is not something I will ever be able to fathom. At the end of the day, we all have the same goal .. peace and love. Thankful for the honor of bringing some joy and positivity in their lives. The comment of how quiet America is really quiet without missiles and bombs shook me to the core. We are beyond lucky to live a life that we don’t know what that’s like. These kids are so happy and grateful. They never once complained. It’s a true testament that there’s not a lot that you can control , but you can control how you turn your hardships into joy. My main motivation is the love of the kids. Thank you to the @officialaqha , @aqhascottneuman , their coaches, and all the incredible parents for believing in me. Thank you @xannaill for all your hard work for the kids. Love you guys!!! And ani mohana lihiyot hamuma for life 🫶🏼🥰😍❤️

It's taken me a bit to find the right words and I don't think I could ever describe how wonderful Vegas was to us! I love this crew. I love these horses. I'm incredibly grateful for all of it. So much hard work went into this. Can't wait for the next one 🤍 #whathappensinthecornerstaysinthecorner

In this week's episode of the War Horses podcast, I reveal the Official Auburn Elvis Loaded Lineup. These are the 20 riders that I would select for an ultimate college EQ team. (Riders, the AI glamorized your headshots a little, so that's why you look like this. Also, I'm trying to tag all of you, but apologies if I miss someone.)
