POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We just published our latest reference directory: Who’s Who in Web3: The Art Curators.

Our latest reference directory profiles 100 curators actively working at the intersection of Web3 and contemporary art — from institutional figures at Centre Pompidou, the Whitney, and the V&A to independent voices building exhibitions on platforms, in galleries, and championing artists on-chain.

What unites them is a single criterion: a specific, credited exhibition of blockchain-based art in the past four years.

This directory is exclusive to 100 collectors members. If there’s a curator you think belongs on this list, comment below — we research every suggestion and expand accordingly.

Join 100 collectors to access all directories: https://www.100collectors.art/landing/digital-art-directories

What does it mean, under contemporary earth-observation regimes, to see everything and still misread—to claim the planet is fully legible from orbit, when the distance between data and lived experience makes stories not simply told, but operationalized?

In End of Signal, Mocan takes this tension as a point of departure, inhabiting the operational interior of a distributed satellite intelligence composed of seventy-two orbital “eyes” tasked with reconstructing an anomalous event that resists stabilization. The exhibition unfolds as both a spatial and emotional journey through its consciousness, articulated through orbital trajectories.

Thank you, Cezar @cezarmocan for inviting me to curate this exhibition and for allowing us to imagine so many different ways of seeing. Special thanks to Elena @aval0vara , María, and Alessandra @aleegargiulo for the care, dedication, and generosity you brought to this project.

End of Signal is the winning project of the SOLO AI ’25 AWARD by SOLO Contemporary @solo_contemporary and is presented as part of the exhibition programme of Onkaos. @onkaos_
In Madrid until October 17. 📡

What happens when the technologies designed to observe the world stop being objective witnesses and become unreliable storytellers?

End of Signal, the new exhibition by artist and programmer @cezarmocan, winner of the SOLO AI’25 Award, explores the limits of technological observation and the fragile promises of objectivity embedded in AI and automated systems.

Through real-time simulations, satellite imagery, datasets, and remote sensing technologies, the exhibition invites visitors to question the infrastructures we rely on to interpret reality.

Part of the @onkaos_ programme, End of Signal also marks the opening of Basement, a new exhibition space at SOLO CSV, expanding the visitor experience and opening this area to the public for the first time.

Reserve your visit from Tuesday onwards via our website or linktree.

Last week we published “How can we truly speak of blockchain-native aesthetics?”, co-authored by Ian Margo (@3_fieldware) and Elena Carbajal (@aval0vara), is now available on our website.

This short article explores the challenges posed by digital art as a problematic term, examines aesthetic concepts within the context of blockchain, and offers a critique of the emerging forms that art is taking on the eve of a cultural context undergoing change.

We are also taking the opportunity of this publication to announce a change in the structure of both our website and 邊界.

More news will follow.
Stay tuned!

What happens when art moves at the speed of algorithms, but artists don’t want to?

In this episode of Unlocked, Elena Carbajal from @onkaos_ (@solo_contemporary ) pulls back the curtain on the realities of digital and AI art: platform pressure, exhibition challenges, and why the art world needs new systems, not just new tools.

If you care about where digital art is really heading (beyond hype), this one’s essential.
