If If you know, you know—OEM BMW emblems aren’t cheap. Finding the right 55mm emblem for the E36 vert took a little hunting, too.

@avalonking gifted me their ceramic coating, and I’ve been looking for a chance to put it to use. With how these emblems fade and wear over time, this felt like the perfect place to start.

Even the small details deserve some protection. Protect the investment. 💯🫡

A friend finally got a Tesla Model 3 Performance in the blue he wanted, but needed a paint correction. I did a 2 stage polish and 3 year coating on this beauty 💙 😍 really shows how smooth the lines on the car are to be as aerodynamic as possible.

Early morning garage time. 💪🏽 Giving the E36 headlights some attention with the ceramic coating kit gifted by @avalonking

Everything came well packaged, and application was straightforward. Headlights first—body next once the paint correction is done. One detail at a time.

The E38 is still down, but the progress hasn’t stopped. 🤝

@avalonking gifted me their Armor Shield IX to try, and the original plan was to use it on the E38. Instead, the E36’s new headlights are up first, with the body to follow after paint correction.

The photos show the old headlights versus the replacements—the coating test is still to come. I’ll share the process and honest results along the way.

Appreciate AvalonKing for supporting the journey.

DIY Ceramic Coating. Rewarded with a slick finish and the hydrophobic property is just insane! 🫧
