Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening night of Out of the Studio yesterday. Glory Tuohy-Daniell and Sarah-Vyne Vassallo with Emerging Makers created new contemporary dance works that stirred emotion, held our attention and stayed with us long after the movement ended. We return to the studio today for two more performances. Tickets are available for the 2.30pm and 6.30pm shows. In a world of constant stimulation and endless doom-scrolling, when do we make room for boredom? In Room to Wonder, Glory Tuohy-Daniell explores this question through movement, inviting us to reconsider what happens when we allow ourselves to simply wonder. Developed through Choreographic Lab 2025, the work grew through experimentation, play with props, and a collaborative process that allowed the work to evolve. Glory shares how the dancers have influenced her process and continue to inspire the work. Join us at Out of the Studio this Friday and Saturday to experience Room to Wonder. Slices of life from the last two months x From Concept shoots… To seeing IDL…. Kpop video shoots…. Birthdays…. Choreographing music videos…. More photoshoots… Dancing in music videos…. Rehearsing and performing in a dance show…. Performing in an original musical…. Model upskilling…. EP releasing…. More birthdays… If you’ve gotten this far… I recently was hospitalised with viral sepsis. I am not yet out of the woods. I was discharged after five days but have had recurrent symptoms. For anyone that knows me and my history, hospitalisation aren’t new but are therefore triggering. I am taking a step back from activity (mainly dance) whilst I take the time to rest and recover. My health has to come first so I can keep doing what I love. Pls stick around cos I will be back I promise x

LOOP (the first act) is taking place on Sunday August 23rd 6-8pm at Glebe Town Hall. Over two hours we will gather in an open jam format to share, improvise and connect. @chaoscollective.official will be our resident musicians and source of sound for the night. So if nothing else, come see them work their magic. This is a super informal event, we want to facilitate a space that is open and safe for you to come as you are and practice as you please. This is also the first time we are running a LOOP! So, we want to see what happens without prescribing too much information. Let’s share the space and see what unfolds. Whether you are a dancer, musician, visual artist, lighting designer, set designer or anything in between this is for you.
