Keep Being Brave, Even if You’re the Only One 🤯 I interviewed Ava Johnson, Director of the Ambulatory Clinical Documentation department at her health system. I asked her what good leadership looks like, and she’s a big believer in servant leadership, serving your team, leading by example, and truly understanding what they go through. Because if your team doesn’t trust you, they’re not going to follow you. I asked how she got here, and she credits the people close to her who believed in her and pushed her when she doubted herself, along with her faith, which has played a huge role in her career. Her advice to her younger self? Keep being brave. Even if you’re the only one, even if you’re the first one thinking the way you think, stand by your convictions and watch where it takes you. And her advice for the world: stand by what you believe in, and just go for it. Be the go-getter. #leadership #healthcare #servantleadership #motivation
