Fast, awkward, honest… and very, very funny.

Production stills from 107 Minutes in Heaven by @tucker.iverson & @avasmithmier — a sharp, chaotic dive into connection, vulnerability, and everything we try (and fail) to hide. The kind of comedy that lands because it’s just a little too real.

Captured at Under St. Marks Theater, where every glance, pause, and punchline hits up close.

Chaos, chemistry, and perfectly timed comedy 🎭

Production stills from 7 Minutes in Heaven written by @tucker.iverson — a fast, funny ride through awkward truths and unexpected connections. Huge credit to the cast and creative team for bringing such sharp, honest humor to life, and to @frigidnewyork at Under St. Marks for the intimate space that lets every moment land.

Grateful to capture the energy, the tension, and all the beautifully uncomfortable laughs.

Long hours. Honest work. Real growth.

There’s something powerful about watching actors push past comfort, take risks, and fully commit to the process. This rehearsal room was filled with focus, discipline, and a willingness to go there—again and again.

Huge respect to the students for the work they put in, and to the staff for creating a space where that kind of collaboration and trust can thrive.

Grateful to capture these moments—the in-between beats, the breakthroughs, the quiet preparation that makes it all happen.

Behind every moment on stage is hours of unseen work.

This showcase was built on dedication, discipline, and the kind of collaboration that pushes everyone to be better. The students brought relentless focus and heart to every rehearsal, while the staff shaped, guided, and elevated each performance with care and intention.

Grateful to document the process—the quiet breakthroughs, the adjustments, the commitment to getting it right.

These are the moments that make the final performance matter.

🎬 behind the scenes of the first ever Esper Career Launch Digital Showcase — which I got to teach, direct, and produce.

I love the ‘fancy self-tape’ style shoot because it’s pure acting. no sweeping score, no flashy camera moves to lean on — just a person living out some (imaginary) circumstances in front of you. and yet every single one of these actors rose to my challenge and found ways to tell their character’s stories visually.

@esperstudio | the teachers, the staff, the students — it’s a true honor to return and be a small part of this incredible studio. looking forward to doing this again and so much more.

book these incredible actors! @espercareerlaunch
