Another Wednesday Night Track Session in the books. The sprinters had 8 x 200m and the middle distance runners had 8 x 400m! We got it in and cheered each other along! The CTC Family is growing!

Such a fun film to be a part of! Worked with such a fun cast and amazing crew. The hot humid day and nights were worth it and I got to see fireflies for the first time in my life. 🥹 It’s these amazing projects, bringing someones story to life, I LOVE being a part of. But the behind the scenes is what I miss the most. Hopefully we can have another bonfire night together!!

Thank you @cephrastuart for giving me this opportunity to be part of your story to show the world.

It’s a joy to finally share the official poster for A Beauty Supply in Queens.

A film led by two incredibly talented actors, Caroline Chikezie and Clem Cheung, but more than that, two beautiful humans who poured their hearts into this story. They gave their all and brought these characters to life in the way every writer dreams of.

And that they did.

Today, on my father’s birthday, I’m dedicating this film to him.

4/4. To my guardian angel.
Rest in peace, my amazing father, and happy heavenly birthday.

I’m overjoyed to share this personal film with the world. A well-needed conversation that brings the immigrant experience across different cultures together, rather than divide.

Trailer coming soon. Screenings coming soon.
