One of our favorite things about Art Walk? Seeing Downtown Ames come alive in every direction. 💙🎨
From storefronts filled with art to sidewalks buzzing with people, artists and host businesses will be spread throughout the entire district this Thursday from 5-8 PM.
Take a look at the map, find your must-stop spots, and start planning your evening downtown!

View all participating artists and businesses here:

In addition to all of the fun on 5th street during 515 Day, businesses throughout the district are filled with specials, activities and some are staying open late!

Kudos to @_ericsmidt from @amesalliance for an engaging presentation and to @downtownames for the first business meet up under their small business education program.

The Recipe prepared some bites for the guests!

Thank you, Patrick and the economic vitality committee, for a successful event!

We wouldn’t say “the cold never bothered us anyway”, but we can confidently say that “the cold doesn’t keep us from smiling!”
It may be cold, but businesses have cleared their sidewalks, are open and enjoying life in Downtown Ames. Stop by, warm up and shop a bit. 😁
