Patiently waiting for the weekend

Hello everyone!!! As many of you know I am running for Imperial Unified School District Board of Trustees. Why am I running? I am passionate about my community as a whole. I am passionate about the trajectory of the children in our district from Pre K through High School. I believe if we have appreciation and respect for the part time school crossing guard to the highest paid position and everyone in-between, the kids will reap the benefits. I believe that transparency sometimes has to be accomplished through hard respectful conversations but will ultimately solidify trust and confidence in YOUR school board trustees. At the end of the day the board is YOUR board. They are who you collectively elected to be a representative of the community. YOU entrusted board members with protecting the interests of students, supporting educators, and ensuring the school district is being responsibly governed. A trustee is not there to run the day-to-day operations of the district, but to provide oversight, ask the right questions, make informed decisions, and hold the district accountable to its students, families, staff, and taxpayers and this is what I intend to do if given the opportunity.
I am asking for your confidence and your vote November 3rd.
Have a blessed day!!
