Chapter 36 🥂🥳♎️ My 35th year didn’t look the way I imagined it would, but it revealed more of me than any comfortable year ever could. I became a college graduate. I continued building @dreamsbydrizzy, @drinksbydrizzy, @desserts_bydrizzy. I created, served, learned, worked, lost, restarted, cried, prayed and kept moving—even during the moments when I didn’t feel like myself. This year humbled me. It forced me to confront my fears, strengthen my boundaries, release relationships and situations that no longer aligned with me, and become more intentional about what—and who—I allow into my life. I learned that effort matters, peace is priceless, and choosing myself is not selfish. There were moments when I focused more on my losses than my progress. Moments when I questioned what I had to show for my life. But when I truly look back, I see a woman who refused to quit. A woman who kept creating while healing. A woman who held on to God when she couldn’t understand the season. A woman who is still discovering who Chandria is—and loving her more honestly along the way. I’m not entering 36 with everything figured out. I’m entering with greater faith, stronger discernment, clearer vision and a deeper respect for my own resilience. Thirty-five was about surviving, releasing and rediscovering myself. Thirty-six is about alignment, discipline, stability, expansion, genuine love and becoming everything God has been preparing me to be. I may not be where I thought I would be, but I am grateful that I am no longer who I used to be. Happy 36th birthday to me. I know this birthday post—and these pictures—are wayyy late but what can I say? I’ve been busy living life! And trust me… A TIME WAS HAD! 🎉🥃 Big thanks to Dave and Ali for hosting my birthday celebration at The Ave Kitchen & Bar and making sure we had a great night. And thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with me—family, friends, coworkers, and even some new friends I picked up along the way. 😂 I appreciate all the love, laughs, drinks, conversations, and good energy. Another trip around the sun ☀️ and another year of making memories, having adventures, meeting good people, and collecting a few more stories to tell. August 20th was definitely one for the books.
