Passing the torch

Four years, one incredible journey.
This sport built me, challenged me, and gave me memories and people I’ll cherish forever. Thank you Mentor Flag Football for everything ❤️🖤

To my Adriana: Adriana, you have so much in front of you, and I hope you truly realize how much potential you have; not just as a player, but as a person. Keep trusting yourself, keep working, and keep playing with the heart that makes you who you are. Your time is coming, and when it does, own it. Lead, be confident, and never forget the little girl in you who started this because she loved the game. She’d be proud of how far you’ve come, and she’s not even close to seeing your best yet.

To my team: To this year’s team, thank you for making this season one I’ll never forget. What we built together was special, not just because of what we did on the field, but because of the way we showed up for each other. Through every challenge, every laugh, and every moment in between, we became more than teammates, we became a family. Keep pushing, keep believing, and keep carrying the heart this team had. You all have something special in you, and I can’t wait to see where it takes you next.

And finally, to this program, thank you for four years that helped shape me into who I am. From the first day I stepped on the field to my last, this program gave me more than memories; it gave me family, discipline, confidence, and moments I’ll carry forever. It taught me how to fight through hard things, how to lead, and how much heart this game really takes. I’m proud to have been part of something bigger than myself, and no matter where life takes me next, a piece of me will always belong here.
