Before wrapping up the studio, travels across northern Italy and Switzerland gave students the chance to visit seminal works by Giuseppe Terragni, Aurelio Galfetti, Mario Botta, Peter Märkli, Peter Zumthor, and Valerio Olgiati.

A particular highlight: a visit to Peter Zumthor’s office in Haldenstein, Switzerland, where students engaged in an unforgettable conversation on architecture and process.

These experiences enriched the studio’s final proposals—deepening the investigation into how place, craft, and material come together to shape meaningful architecture.
