Dear Swim,

As a wise man once said, โ€œLast one, fast one.โ€

This is certainly not how or when I imagined my swimming career would end, but all good things must come to an end eventually. This great sport has transformed both my life and my body into something my younger self could have only dreamed of, and for that I am forever grateful. I am deeply honored to have had the privilege of training under some of the best coaches in the nation, alongside some of the finest athletes Louisiana has had to offer.

However, after much deliberation, Iโ€™ve made the difficult decision to hang up the suit.

Over the past nine years, swimming has brought countless people into my life. Some were acquaintances, others came and went, but many have stuck by my side and became like family to me, and I will carry those relationships for the rest of my life.

My intention here is not to build a graveyard of memories, but rather to pay tribute to my journey as both a Crawfish and a Centenary swimmer. It is my sincere hope that those who come after me will have the opportunity to share my incredible experience as well.

Thank you for every moment. Iโ€™ve received everything I couldโ€™ve ever wished for, and more.

Signing out,
Stelly a.k.a. โ€œThe Meatballโ€ & โ€œAlbino Rhinoโ€
