YOU ARE MORE THAN SEPTEMBER 1.

The calls. The texts. The emails. The watch lists. The write-ups.

They can be exciting but they do not define your talent, your potential or your worth as an athlete.

September 1 is a starting line. Not a finish line.

Your game.
Your journey.
Your timeline. 🩵

Know a 2028 who needs this reminder? Send it to her.

Repost it. Share it with a teammate. Send it to a player you coach or an athlete you love.

Someone may need to hear it before September 1.

𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 ‼️

Please join us in welcoming Avery Hines as the Head Coach of our Rebels 2034 team for the 2026-2027 season!

An Urbana High School alumna, four-year letter winner, and two-year captain, Coach Avery went on to star at Stony Brook University, earning recognition from IWLCA, USA Lacrosse, and Nike Lacrosse, along with a spot on the Tewaaraton Watch List.

In 2025, she was named CAA Defensive Player of the Week seven times, ranked 3rd nationally in caused turnovers, and broke multiple program records.

We’re beyond excited to welcome Coach Avery home to Maryland and can’t wait for her to lead the next generation of Rebels athletes.
