A quick trip to check out Avery’s summer home in @northstar_california in Truckee.

Downtown Truckee. So much character and charm.

Lunch with Avery.

Truckee River.

Dinner for Dusan’s birthday on the hilltop at @cottonwoodtruckee. Beautiful view despite the rainstorm.

@villagecampresorts in Truckee.

Hike around Donner Lake.

A hike in search of the famous Donner Lake View Swing.

Donner Lake didn’t look real. So vibrant and beautiful.

Found the famous Donner Lake view swing. Risky location on the side of a highway and the edge of a cliff.

One last dinner in Truckee with Avery.

Chimney Beach on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe. A mile hike down to get to this beautiful spot. So worth it.

Enjoying Chimney Beach.

Headed to see Eric Church at the Tahoe Amphitheater. We could hear him warming up outside our hotel before the show.

Eric Church! Great show.

Lake Tahoe Amphitheater. Such a great intimate venue.

Visited the cabin my grandpa Galli built in South Lake Tahoe. So many great memories. I had not been there since I was 10. I knocked on the door and met the current owner. He let us walk around the property and take pictures.

The “big rock” Lisa and I used to climb behind Grandpa’s cabin. The forest out back is still endless and untouched.

The @coachmanhotel in South Lake Tahoe. Awesome location one block from the south shore.

No trip is complete without visiting the local high school football field. Go South Lake Tahoe Vikings!

For today’s #SENIORSPOTLIGHT, we are highlighting the lovely, Avery Ancich! Here’s what she has to say about her time spent with Alpha Phi: 🧸🤎

“Alpha Phi has given me some of the closest and most meaningful friendships I could have ever asked for. It’s hard to fully put into words how grateful I am for this sorority and the incredible women I’ve met along the way.

To my Fall 2022 pledge class, thank you for the unforgettable memories and for being such an important part of my journey. I will always cherish the bond we share. You are the most amazing women with incredible futures ahead.

To my Greek family, thank you for shaping my experience in such a special way. To my big, Taylor, thank you for guiding me during my first year and helping me find my place. And thank you to my little, Karsyn for allowing me to look over you. I am forever grateful for you both.

This sisterhood has given me invaluable opportunities to grow as a leader, build lifelong friendships, and be part of an organization that has truly shaped my college experience. Good luck to all of my sisters in their future endeavors. I love you all!

AOE🩷

Xoxo ladies,

Avery”
