OCVSB 4 life🩵

Thank you OCVSB for the best 4 years anyone could ever ask for. This season was about something way bigger than softball. Being able to see 4 of my teammates get baptized and having the honor to baptize 3 of them. We as a team grew closer because we kept Jesus a priority in everything we did. Praying before and after games no matter the win or loss. Going to church and doing Bible studies on the bus, listening to worship music during practice and before games, and using scripture to help us prepare before games. I can’t thank God enough that He allowed me to be a mentor to others and that I even got to learn from my teammates. I grew such a stronger relationship with Jesus and with the girls on my team. It was something special and definitely spiritual.

Being apart of this softball program has given me my lifelong friends and has taught me so many things. I’ve learned how to be comfortable in the uncomfortable, God is faithful
and good no matter the circumstance, enjoy every single moment and be still (Psalm 46:10🙌🏼), and how important it is to keep Jesus a priority in my life. I will forever miss those long bus rides, screaming as loud as we can in the dugout, Bullhead shenanigans, QT runs, dance competitions, and praying over my team before every game. Without OCVSB I wouldn’t be who I am today. I can’t believe I’m saying goodbye but I seriously believe that my high school softball career couldn’t have ended any better.
