Avery Manthe wrote her Section 36 Forevers guest blog about overcoming the interview.
👸
She said, “For many competitors, the interview is the most dreaded portion of the competition. It’s the one portion you can’t script or plan second by second. You can’t predict every question or gauge how the judges reacted to each one of your answers. But, there is one thing you can control: your mindset.”

Sisterhood truly is the special 5th point of the crown. ✨

Beyond the titles, dresses, and competition, it’s the incredible girls you meet along the way who make this journey so meaningful. The support, encouragement, laughter, and memories created together are what make this experience unforgettable. So thankful for the friendships that remind me how powerful genuine sisterhood can be.

Thankful for everything that 2025 has brought me, and thankful for the challenges it’s helped me overcome. From a tour in Australia, to starting my Masters degree, to getting married, to helping my family through sickness, I am always grateful to look back on the most precious moments. Here’s to many more in 2026, and many more to celebrate with you all!!! 💕✨
