The fashion industry taught me to look at my body through a thousand different lenses — measurements, angles, expectations, perfection.

Motherhood taught me to look at it differently.

This body carried my baby. It changed, stretched, healed, softened, strengthened — and somehow became even more mine.

Postpartum didn’t take away the woman I was before.
It introduced me to the woman I hadn’t met yet.

So no, I’m not coming back to prove that I still belong.

I’m coming back because I never stopped belonging.

To every woman who has ever felt like she had to shrink herself to fit into an industry, a standard, a room, or someone else’s idea of beautiful — take up the space.

Wear the dress.
Take the photo.
Show up before you feel “ready.”
Love the body that got you here.

This isn’t a comeback.
It’s a reintroduction. 🖤

We’re opening the runway for The Phantom Cabaret - an immersive evening of fashion, music, art & culture presented by @atmosfera.series and @deepdowninsidecgy.

Join us at @commonwealthyyc for an open casting call & social featuring a live DJ, runway strutting sessions and an opportunity to meet and mingle with models, designers and like-minded people across Calgary’s fashion, music & arts communities.

No previous runway experience required. All genders encouraged to apply.
Come solo or bring your friends - you don’t need to be auditioning to join us.

Selected models will have the opportunity to walk our October runway featuring regional designers @averyntheca, @azachng and @gioandrio.co

Please note this is a volunteer modelling opportunity.
Selected models must be available for the following fitting/rehearsal and show dates.
