East Gaston… how could I ever thank you. The many of opportunities this school has given me I never would’ve thought being homecoming queen could be one, but here we are! I’m still speechless but so thankful…

The whole reason I wanted to be on the court was for my dad, I wanted one last special night with him before cancer and chemo got hard on him. Him having the opportunity to spend this night with me was definitely a special and memorable night just like I imagined, but being crowned queen made it even more special to the both of us..

A HUGEEE congratulations to my amazing campaign partner @kailucas65 for winning king, I’m so proud! I would love to congratulate the 10 other girls and 10 boys who got to be apart of this beautiful experience, I am so proud of each and every one of you. Once again.. thank you East Gaston, I love this place and each of you so deeply❤️

Meet the final group of team members!

Why are you running?
Avery: Hi everyone, I’m Avery Price!! Being a part of this campaign is extremely important to me, because one of the people I am closest with has lost the most important person in her life. Watching her miss her mother day in and day out is a pain that no one should have to experience. Having the chance to participate in this fundraiser gives me an opportunity to support the foundation her mother believed would have a major impact on the cure to cancer. I truly can’t wait to see all that this fundraiser can help achieve!!

Cooper: I’m joining this cancer fundraiser because I want to help support people and families who are affected by cancer. Cancer can have a huge impact on someone’s life, and I believe that coming together to raise money can help make a difference. I want to do my part by helping raise awareness, supporting cancer research, and showing people going through this that they are not alone. Even if my contribution is small, I hope it can help make a positive impact.

Kyliegh: Hi everyone!! My name is Kyliegh, and i’m so blessed to be apart of the Blood Cancer United Fundraiser! So many people have to watch someone they love go through something so difficult, and I want to be able to give my support in any way I can. I’m really hoping that through this fundraiser, we can bring hope and support to those affected by blood cancer and their families. I’m truly thankful to have the opportunity to be involved in something that is much bigger than myself, and i can’t wait to see the difference that we can make!!

Jay: I met a super cool guy named grant and got to really know him over spending a month together across the country. I learned about how cancer has impacted his life so negatively and would love and appreciate to be apart of something to help with the future impacts of blood cancer.
