This was genuinely the best experience I have ever had. Singing with Concert Singers in these four cathedrals all around Italy is an experience I will never forget. I am so glad I got to do it with such amazing people and the best choir directors. I never thought my studies would get me this far. If you told little choir me that I would be singing around Italy, I would’ve laughed in your face. I am so beyond blessed to sing with such talented people. Thank you all for making this trip something to remember. @olemisschoir #seethatgurl // SO sorry if i didnt get to tag you all i tagged as many as i could!!! I love you all with my whole heart and im ao glad I ended this trip with even closer friends!!!!!!

Traveling around Lake Como with Concert Singers. #CSTour26

During our recent choir tour, we enjoyed experiences ranging from the metropolitan fashion of Milan to the quiet peacefulness of rural towns and everything in between: food, art, architecture, music, history, and tradition.

Throughout the tour, we were kindly and graciously welcomed by our many hosts. We were excited to sing scheduled concerts in magnificent churches and impromptu performances in piazzas. With each song we were humbled by the enthusiastic reception from our audiences.

These types of tours have an innate bonding effect. They draw us closer together, they help us understand and relate to each other in new ways, and they make us better friends. During our travels we experienced it all: sadness, happiness, tears, laughter, beauty, and joy. We shared experiences, we created moments of beauty, and we shared our hearts with our audiences. Perhaps most importantly, we grew together in our love of music, our love of beauty, and our love for each other.

To my fellow musicians, past, present, and yet to come . . . for the love and the laughter, the moments and the memories . . . grazie mille!

what a perfect way to cap off my junior year! I am humbled and blessed that I got to be a part of this amazing tour with these amazing people in ITALY! this was my first time ever traveling overseas, and I was very nervous. But it was one of the best moments of my life and I will cherish these memories forever! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Day Two - Milano! It was a long, but special day. Our rock star students sang for Holy Mass at the Duomo, performed a well-received concert for the kindest parishioners at Basilica S. Vitrore in Verese, enjoyed a tour of La Scala Opera House, and 10+ miles of walking! Added bonus…my HYT teacher bestie, @howerton.lisa is here!! 🇮🇹
