Kinda chic to make movies with the people you love and trust 🌺💍🌊

Absolutely surreal experience. In May, @christopherceyates approached me with another gift of a script and gave me the opportunity not only to play a character that pushed me outside my comfort zone, but also to produce my first feature at 23 alongside him and @sabrinughhhh. What a life I get to live!!

Thank you to all of my extraordinarily talented friends in front and behind the camera who flew out to O’ahu to make this possible. Thank you to our remarkable crew of new friends who made an indelible mark on this project, and whom we could not have done this without. And lastly thank you to every beautiful soul on O’ahu that lent what resources they had to make this possible - it is our #1 goal to do right by the island and all of you 💖

Meet Remi soon!! It’ll be chic

something really special from honolulu, hawaii 🌺

@chicthemovie meant everything to me. when christopher first told me he was writing a script taking place in hawaii that he wanted to film this year, i was like yeah sure! why not! and the maniac did it. the crew, the cast, the locals and locations, i couldn’t have imagined a better set. to see everyone come together for this vision is probably one of the most beautiful things i’ve witnessed. i’ve made amazing friends, deepened ones that i’ve missed (shoutout jacob), and worked with my absolute bestest friends in the world, sabrina and christopher.

i’ve got a gazillion photos and it was so hard to choose 20, but trust, more will come + bts that i took. i’m so proud of everyone. i love you all. we’ll work together again 🤍

Being a PA is one of my favorite things to do, and it fuels my passion for film production, every single set I’m on. Watching, learning, observing, and just being part of movie magic is what keeps me going, and inspires me to make my own films one day. I learn an incredible amount from every department, and love helping and just being part of the organized chaos. Thank you @chicthemovie for letting me be a part of this awesome project, I met some amazing people, learned more than I expected, and made some great memories. Sets like these remind me to keep working, chasing after that goal, and taking it one step, and one position at a time. ❤️
