Evening - this maybe the closest I’ll get to galloping into 2026 - but there we are.
Roll on the Year of The Horse I say.

Don’t get me wrong, my 2025 wasn’t bad, lots of gallery visit action (thanks to @nationalgallery inviting me to be a part of their 200 Creators programme) exciting travel opportunities, 🇳🇱 🇮🇹 🇮🇳 and some really rather wonderful family, friends, and creative mentoring clients making my life interesting and engaging, you know who you are but I’ll tag you anyway - so here’s to more of that.

I’ve massively enjoyed teaching knitwear repair as a quite mad side hustle, and delighted that so many of you visited my website in November and December to nab an @incredibusy salvaged speed loom - thank you too to my wonderful team Joe, Liz and Beth for working so hard to get the elements of my kits together for me to supply all of the workshops and Christmas gift purchases for the loom kits 🎁

If you’ve made it this far - you’re smashers too - big love, Ali xx

[Video description: Ali walks into shot, film shot by Jules @londonispink fellow #200Creators Network, to admire Stubbs’ Arabian chestnut stallion, accompanied by the voice of @thegreatwomenartists @katy.hessel (with thanks) BBC Radio 4 in a programme that references an @artfund commissioned study, which found that visiting art galleries has significant mental and physical health benefits. Comment below if you’d like to listen in full and I’ll send you the link 🔗)

A wet and wild weekend at @goodwoodrevival hanging out with @ian_vintage_innovation and @aviatorspeedshop painting bits and getting muddy. This was my second Goodwood and it never fails to be a good time. Thank you for having me guys! I can’t wait for next year! 🏎️

Our latest commission…. No not a bomber, but a drop tank from a bomber…. Well we thought it was a drop tank but later found out it was also for flares when going long distances into hostile airspace…. Watch as Jo @aviatorspeedshop transforms it into a bar, complete with a fridge…. Follow for more. #upcycledfurniture #aviation #aircraft #objetdart #motor
