Stills from “Learn to Fall,” my final project for my documentary field practices class, featuring interviews with @rit_skate and music by the incredible @blackmossband. For anyone interested in seeing the film, a shortened cut of the film will be screening at the @videodazetv film festival this Saturday st 7pm at @thelittletheatre!

This documentary was so fun to make, and creating it felt like the perfect way to conclude a year where I probably spent more time on my board than I did on my feet. Big thanks to Julia Sankowski (my partner for this assignment), @zhowroyd (who helped me cut the original 5-minute documentary down to 3 minutes for VideoDaze), @blackmossband (for letting me use their incredible music), @rit_skate (for letting me film and interview them for like a full month), and everyone else who contributed to the film or provided feedback throughout it’s creation.
