debut album but fashion styling?

about 3 months ago, I had the idea come to mind, musicians, photographers, artistes, even designers that inspire me have albums of some sort, a collection, one that tells a story, that’s when I decided that I wanted an album of my own. felt like I’d been consuming so much ideas & I wasn’t channeling it the right way cause I was tryin to find the supposed “right thing” to create

If you’ve been on the ride with me for a bit you might say I’d previously done something similar, but I wanted this to feel quite different from the last, yet still feel like a 2.0 at the same time, that’s where I got lost, I didn’t know how I wanted to go about it, I didn’t want it to feel like some sort of effortless repeat of the previous version, afterall the inspirations & execution for both were from entirely different points in time

that’s when I came across @gabrielomoses “ask it anyway” video with instagram, & something he said stood out to me, how children can be an unconventional source of inspiration because of how unafraid they are to just say & do that thing they think about & I immediately realized that I was so focused on trying so hard to make everything seem meaningful, when I shouldn’t even have to try that hard, meaning can’t be forced, it’s raw, it’s personal, it’s real. the truth was I really wanted to be unpredictable & to create with freedom,, create like a kid lol, So yup, after some curating, sketching, editing, & failed attempts to stay true to the real meaning, here’s the album, hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did haha.
