🗨️ As soon as the camera turned on, my screen was flooded with a huge, genuine smile. Suddenly, I found myself face to face with a wonderful person who radiated such a biblical grace and sweet warmth that within seconds I forgot the myth that surrounds her.

🗨️ @annekevangiersbergenofficial of the Dutch @thegatheringband , thirty years later, with an impressive solo career under her belt and countless collaborations with some of the most brilliant and unconventional minds in modern music -from 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 to 𝗔𝗿𝗷𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻- remains a unique, unclassifiable phenomenon. As she prepares to return to Athens and Thessaloniki for two shows, we secured an interview for the 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.

🗨️ We talked for hours with this emotional catalyst, the person who enjoys the almost fan-like adoration of the metal scene, and we bring you an excerpt of a conversation where Anneke reveals her most personal experiences, explaining why she remains sworn to the imperfect.

"Wade's strength lies precisely in his control and self-restraint. It does not seek climaxes or sensationalism, but chooses to move at lower intensities, somewhere where melancholy turns into contemplation. A quiet, mature and deeply human album, one of those that keeps you company during the quietest hours of the day."

really nice review of the circle Circle bros lp 'wade' (originally in greek!) on Avopolis - link in stories (and sure you can translate greek-english that way)

“The new meeting of Abul Mogard with Rafael Anton Irisarri confirms why they are considered two of the most important forms of contemporary ambient. Rather than repeating their familiar forms, they choose to expand their vocabulary... Where Light Pauses in the Silence of the Sun is not one of those albums that you listen to loudly, let it play and find within it your own place that you want to inhabit. And when it ends, it leaves behind the feeling that the silence has briefly acquired its own, subtle melody.”

@abulmogard & @blackknoll ’s album “Where Light Pauses in the Silence of the Sun“ appears in the @avopolis ambient music selections for July.

Athens, Greece
July 1, 2026

An unforgettable night as Moby delivered a performance that blended powerful visuals, emotional moments, and timeless songs, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and monumental.

Photographing this show was a privilege. The striking stage production, incredible lighting, and talented musicians made every moment a joy to capture.

Many thanks to Moby, his crew, and everyone at Release Athens Festival for the opportunity and hospitality!

Ευχαριστούμε θερμά τον Γιάννη Παπαϊωάννου και το @avopolis

✍️Από την πρώτη τους εμφάνιση στην αθηναϊκή alternative σκηνή μέχρι το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ Ripples in a Linear World και το πρόσφατο EP Necessary Scars, οι AMNESIA PILLS συνεχίζουν να χτίζουν έναν κόσμο όπου η κιθαριστική ένταση συναντά τα ηλεκτρονικά στοιχεία και η βρετανική παράδοση των Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Editors και New Order συνομιλεί με προσωπικές εμπειρίες, αστικές διαδρομές και υπαρξιακές ανησυχίες.
