A new room for the story. This weekend, Naomiraye stepped into Durham Fashion Week. There was something incredibly special about seeing the work I’ve created: the paintings, the silk, the stories inspired by home, represented in a space I once could only have imagined being part of. But perhaps my favourite part was simply connecting. Meeting other creatives, talking about the stories behind the scarves, sharing ideas and discovering possibilities I hadn’t walked in with. Building a brand doesn’t always happen in big, dramatic moments. Sometimes it happens one conversation, one connection and one new room at a time. Grateful for the connections made with other vendors, artists and creatives: @misti_anurada_paul @avtaran.saisha @sweetstackcookies.to @tres.sweetmilkcakes @houseofqala.ca @divinesilverline @bhimasmarkham @lovemorelifestylecoaching @pinchofbongs @rockyrawse @castle9couturedesigns @israel_noya Still building. Still learning. Still creating. Rooted in culture. Designed with soul. Naomiraye. ✨ #Naomiraye #DurhamFashionWeek #WearableArt #CaribbeanDesigner #SilkScarves SlowFashion
