Full circle moment.

As an HBCU graduate, being invited back to speak at an HBCU is a reminder that God always keeps His promises. I am very grateful for my sister @ashley_adana for seeing me.

Years ago, I sat in those seats as a student at @howard1867 , dreaming, learning, and believing there was more for my life.

Today, I have the privilege of sharing my story with the next generation of leaders, creators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries.

I’m grateful to day YES again to bookings that align.
I’m grateful for every lesson along the journey.
And I’m grateful for people like @ashley_adana who thought of me and created space for me to pour back into others.

This moment reminded me of something simple:

Keep saying yes.

Yes to the opportunities.
Yes to the calling.
Yes to the room God is preparing you for before you even see it.

You never know which yes will become a full circle moment. 🤍

During a recent sit-down with @SpiritualWord Host Nia Celé, #MetroBoomin got candid when asked what #God has done for him in this current season of his life. The producer shared that this period has been all about realigning with himself spiritually, letting go of old habits and ways of thinking, and developing newer, better ones. Metro revealed he’s been in the middle of a major transformation since around October/November, and despite being in the thick of it, he expressed gratitude for the journey — and excitement for what’s still to come. 🙏🏾

#HBCU alum and media personality #RocsiDiaz is not holding back! 👏🏾

During a recent event, Spiritual Word host Nia Celé asked Rocsi how it felt to be in the space as an HBCU alum and sis delivered! Rocsi made it clear that shining a light on HBCUs is more important than EVER, stating that HBCUs are currently “under attack.”

She went on to emphasize the importance of the community coming together to keep the doors open and preserve those life-changing experiences for future students — the same ones she and Terrence J were able to have.

“I think that is a beautiful thing when we come together like this and raise money and raise awareness,” Rocsi said. 💛

Family, what are your thoughts?

#JillScott is giving flowers to HBCUs after recently visiting #ClarkAtlantaUniversity 👏🏾 While speaking with Spiritual Word’s host Nia Celé, Jill shared that it was her first time experiencing an HBCU while classes were actually in session, and she left impressed by the students, the energy, and the school’s impact on the music industry.

Jill revealed she learned that Atlanta and Clark have produced “more executives in the music industry than any other university,” adding that seeing so many “bright, brilliant faces” passionate about music and making it their major inspired her deeply. 🎶📚

Family, do y’all think HBCUs still have one of the biggest influences on music and culture today?
