“Within every woman there is a little girl—
A child who remembers who she was
before society named, tamed, and claimed her.
In her element, she returns to safety—
Where no one speaks to her, touches her,
or gazes upon her without consent.
She is untamed, sovereign, and free—
like Borikén before the chains.”

Day 3 of MH Awareness Month | Waterfall Wisdom 🌀

A glimpse of a sacred place that has held me in Borikén. No music needed—natures sounds; the water, the wind, the stillness… it’s always enough.

I’ve tended to a form of yoga ( I call opening my body) since 2020—it has helped me return to body, breath, and Madre Tierra— not through theory, but through experience and trust.

Deep gratitude to Christina at @awarenessandyoga who introduced me to the parallel paths of yoga, nature, and nervous system healing. Her approach to stress and embodied awareness reflects how to hold life with more space, softness, and trust— to slowly enter the inward path, honoring boundaries, finding the courage to rest — all with the aim to better serve with love and authenticity.

This is a gentle invitation to anyone longing to serve and love more deeply— go out and explore, until YOU find YOUR modality of reconnecting to self, for a stronger collective.
