Some good news for the team: our Exeter project has won the Residential Heritage & Restoration category at the 2026 AWCI NSW Awards of Excellence.

You may recognise these ceilings from our recent post. Our work focused on restoring the existing pressed metal through rust treatment and repainting, with a multicolour finish and real gold leaf detailing on the main ceiling.

Thank you to AWCI and everyone who worked on the project. A result we’re proud of.

Our showroom is coming together too. Send us a DM if you’d like to be invited to our grand opening.

Over the weekend at the AWCINSW Awards of Excellence.

A great day for the Venetian plaster industry.

These awards are a reminder of the skill behind the work, the applicators who turn a material into something people stop and notice.

Not just another finish on the wall, but the kind of craftsmanship that makes a space feel considered and different from everything else.

Congratulations to @venetian_co on the achievement! 👏

Proud of the people in this industry who keep raising the standard.

Thank you, @awcinsw for hosting such a memorable event.

It was a real privilege to attend these awards and have the opportunity to meet and connect with so many talented and passionate people within our industry.

To share the room with some of Australia’s finest tradesmen, tradeswomen and businesses was an experience I’m extremely grateful for. It’s inspiring to see the dedication, craftsmanship and pride that so many people bring to their work every day.

I feel very fortunate to have been invited and to be part of an industry filled with such hardworking and passionate individuals who continue to contribute to and help build this great country of ours.

A truly memorable evening and an honour to be a part of. 🇦🇺

🏆 A Proud Moment for Gems Venetian Plaster!

We are honoured to receive an award from @awcinsw AWCI NSW in recognition of our Gems Polished Plaster designs.

A well-deserved achievement that reflects years of dedication, passion, craftsmanship and creativity.

What started as a passion for turning ordinary walls into extraordinary works of art has now received industry recognition.

We are truly grateful to AWCI NSW for this recognition and to everyone who has supported and trusted our work along the way.

This award is more than a trophy. It is a reflection of the hard work, artistry and commitment behind every finish we create.

Proud, grateful, and inspired to keep pushing the boundaries of decorative plaster artistry.

Stairs & Skylights 🌪️

We have been involved in over 50 crazy stairs and any number of skylights. Each one holding their own challenging design elements.

We have learnt what works and what simply doesn’t. The knowledge we have gained from these projects has allowed us to perfect the craftsmanship required for these specialty custom designed elements.

It’s not just gyprock to us!

How good and clean does it look once we removed all the protection 👌🏼

The details on this on was a 3mm custom shadow gap to the off form concrete And then carry that throughout the build following the architects direction.
Each shadow line is selected by the architects to highlight certain features and tie in with joinery once installed .
Extremely detailed , it’s a junction masterclass with every beam lining up with trims above and then finishing at pre determined points like the laundry wall / pivot door , off form concrete blade wall ect
To add some difficulty , we surveyed every beam first and then packed ,planed whatever we had to do so they are all exactly the same width (thickness) 62mm to be exact , as well as lining up with all relevant junctions .

Not 1 bit of plaster on the glass or on the off form concrete , we are real tradesman doing a tradesman like finish …..#bossonthetools
