@gravel_worlds Day/Race 2: 75 mile gravel race

Well, I found out very quickly that I left my legs on yesterday’s triathlon course. It was a 4hr20min Sufferfest for me! But, considering how terrible it felt, I’m very happy with that time and a 6th AG place. I didn’t expect to podium in this one, just race as strong as I could to hold a solid time for the Triple Threat competition. Threw in a post race pic that shows how I really felt 😂
Now I have to lock it down tomorrow for the half marathon and hope my legs show up.

It’s been a fun few days hanging and racing with friends. We all suffer together out here and love it!

What a day for the Patriot 70.3 Half Ironman! Any day you get to a start line healthy and ready to race is a great day and today had it all- choppy swim, fast bike, and an absolute sufferfest of a 91 degree run 🥵. We call that Type 2 fun 😂. But triathlon season has begun! 🤘 #triathlon

A shoutout must be done for IRaceLikeAGirl/GIRLSGETGRITTY teammate Claire. A true display of grit this past weekend at the CherryLake Farms Duathlon. Claire blazed through her race, placing 1st in her AG and she was on 🔥! Then, she went back out onto the course to inspire her teammates. Energy in full display as she ran back onto the course and escorted in each of our teammates also competing in the duathlon. Never ever underestimate the rush of adrenaline from a teammate cheering you on. 👏

Congrats to all our teammates who achieved podium and to ALL who showed up! And thank you @angelanaeth for putting this on - so so much fun!

More to come! But what do you get when you bring the women on IRaceLikeAGirl/GIRLSGETGRITTY together for our annual camp in Clermont, FL?!You get a true group of women who show up for themselves, for each other and who cheer each other on relentlessly. We race with so much ❤️ and it shows. Bonding, coffee, podiums and hot tubs. And who knew Florida would have freezing weather 🥶😂. What an amazing weekend!

👀2025 from behind the handlebars
I rode my bike in 4 countries 🇲🇽🇿🇦🇮🇹🇪🇸 and 10 states. It was a great year for airlines… 18 flights with a bike and my bike was lost ZERO times 🙌

Cool fact: @csn.3107 and I rode in 3 countries together and not 1 was our nationality ✌️

Woop woop! IRaceLikeAGirl/GIRLSGETGRITTY teammate Alicia ran the Covered bridge 10k! She said it's been a while since she raced a stand alone 10k. Even though she picked a hard one, it always feel easier with friends on course💛 And, did she mention the cool socks she got for SWAG?

One thing IRaceLikeAGirl/GIRLSGETGRITTY teammate Alicia can count on is Wednesday morning runs. And one thing anyone else who knows her can count on is a huge smile before, during and after. Consistency pays off big for her and anyone who hangs with her!
