For a while I've been searching for a term that resonates with me more than "green beauty," which loosely defines natural products, or "clean beauty." What these terms don't suggest is the reverence surrounding beauty that can take it from the physical realm and elevate it to the ethereal realm. 💫🙏💫To me, the words "mindful beauty" link the intangibility of beauty--those hallowed, unspoken elements of beauty--with the corporeal, earthly aspects. It is my goal to continue making mindful choices in all aspects of adornment--not only cosmetics. 💍That's one reason why I'm excited to share jewelry that has been consciously created by Taylor Kenney (@taylorkenneyjewelry), a former yoga instructor and avid meditator, who fuses the tangible beauty and power of natural stones with the sacred essence of spirituality. 💍Her inspiration is derived from the bucolic surroundings of her home in Colorado. 💍It is her dedication to using 100% recycled silver and responsibly sourced gems and metals, as well as sacred symbols and mantras that call me to her evolved work. 💍I can't wait to share more about the beautiful pieces that are shown here a little later! In the morning, when I want a light scrub and mask, I head for Wild Honey Apothecary. The sugar granules exfoliate while the honey soothes the skin. Clearly will have to head over to @pemberleyjones to get a new one asap!
