Easily had the best cry of my life here.•~

~•.Have you ever found yourself? At the foot
of a place you have never been but is somehow home
more home than home is
I have
Have you? Ever lost hope in finding home
Ever landed on land that holds nothing
but chaos, confusion, contortion
Ever fallen over falls as feet once under you are now above
Answer honestly now, did the dive break you? And still aren’t you more in love?
Suffering somehow brings us together
Gravity brings us tethers
And I can’t help but swoon when water forges through canyons with no abandon and I can’t help but feel like falling too, through and through and through
So I can find myself again
surfacing anew

Waterfalls just take me to these places within, the homes I’ve honed where I can always, again, begin
Oh I cried and cried here, specifically, as I gazed into the blue…but I always knew…that my own waterfall within contains my constant truth
It’s always there for me, like yours is for you
Let it flush let it forge let it flow through
Land yourself in pools that cool the singe of silent yearning, that familiar burn that keeps us from turning away from all we’re enduring. When you listen, the rush is quite slow, all you need is your own attention. You will find, like wind just blows, how truly powerful even one wish is.•~

I had a hard time not turning this into an @awjeezvisualarts appreciation post. It’s just that.. we met at a sold out show when I had quite literally one more night to go on my solo road trip around Colorado. He asked me if I wanted a “little coke” and I said no before I realized it was a joke (a literal little coke bottle, had me yoked). They say when you know you know, so ffwd here we are, my seedling of an adventure reaped into a feast of them I feel lucky to have sowed. And “when the known crumbles away, all that remains is your burning heart,” yet he stokes the glow. And the flame just grows. Okay, I could play with rhyming stories stowed to match metaphors that flow all day but all I’m trying to say is: With Rick, there’s always one more night to go💫

Still smiling about this one ❤️

Watching @browneedub open for @artifaktsmusic at Mission Ballroom was a moment that I’ll never forget.

I get to wear two hats every day, his manager and his wife and I don’t think I’ll ever stop being grateful for that. I get to celebrate the big moments with him, but I also get to see everything that happens before them. The late nights in the studio, the sacrifices, the setbacks and the unwavering belief that all of this hard work will be worth it someday.

Then a night like this happens.

Standing there watching him do what he loves on a stage like Mission Ballroom, connecting with the crowd and living out a dream he’s worked so hard for... it’s hard to put into words how proud I am.

As his manager, seeing all of the hard work turn into opportunities like this is the most rewarding feeling. As his wife, getting to watch the person I love live out his passion is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m so proud of you. Not just for this show, but for who you are as a person, the work you put in when no one’s watching, and the way you continue to bet on yourself.

A huge thank you to @artifaktsmusic for having him and thank you to every single person who came early, danced, cheered, streamed the music, bought a ticket, or believed in him. None of this happens without your support.

This was a big milestone... and I have a feeling it’s only the beginning. ❤️🚀

Lastly, a massive thank you to @shootahmedia for capturing these moments perfectly. It’s been one of the most beautiful journeys watching you both live out your dreams. I will forever be rooting for you and forever grateful that you are in our lives.

And another massive thank you to @awjeezvisualarts for perfecting the visuals. This man went above and beyond and we are forever grateful. 🫶🏻

Mission Ballroom…where do I start, this has been a dream of mine for years now and to see it come to life is unbelievable. Denver will always hold a special place in my heart and will always be my home away from home.

So many of y’all came out early and caught my set and I couldn’t be more thankful for it, none of what I do would be possible without you.

Debuted some new music, had my first special guest come out, custom visuals. So much work put into this and I’m so glad I got to share it all with such a special city.

And a massive thank you to @artifaktsmusic and his team for having me be a part of this special event, everyone absolutely crushed it.

Until next time Denver, hopefully I can make it back sooner rather than later.
