3 days on the 3 legs playing our new album ‘3’! 🇮🇲 Thank you to everyone who sardined into the Creek Saturday night, and to old friends @loft47_music for opening up.
IOM folk have always shown incredible support and will forever continue to lend us amps, fairy lights, keyboard stands, fresh bread, homemade wine, buy the merch, pick us up from the airport, leave us a car, clean towels and comfy beds. Feeling very lucky to call this funny little island home.
Till next time yessir! X

Two mesmerising performers in the Union Chapel last night. Each with a great accompanist. Jake Xerxes Fussell lifting up some old songs with his playing and singing. Napoleonic wars, a fish market, songs from the Deep South and some Nick Lowe and Arthur Russell in there too via the Rock Island Line. With musical empath Declan Haughian on drums and clarinet. First up was the wondrous Naima Bock with spellbinding songs and beautiful singing. Not the usual chords and words and playing. Something very different and with another musical empath Jack Ogborne alongside. How lucky were we! @janet.morris.969 @maria30taylor @philipsmithart @naimabock @jxfussell @awk_well_declan @jack_ogborne_

UK tour over - many thanks to all. You have made two old men very tired and wealthy.

We have returned to Ireland with a great many british pound which we will promptly convert to euro to exchange for diesel as we travel to Ballydehob among various other small towns. As Tony Vandervell would say, There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked!

Irish tour recommences this Saturday. Buy tickets. Dingle is sold out. Ballydehob isn’t. Leap isn’t. Etc.

Find tickets via the internet

Hallelujah!
