a dictator from Indonesia, people said he was the father of development, he said anyway
he was the second President of Indonesia who served from 1967 to 1998, replacing Soekarno. the longest serving president in Indonesia.

Internationally, especially in the West, Soeharto is often referred to by the popular title "The Smiling General": (“The Smiling General") because of his constant smiling face, but it turned out to be a terrible smile.

Even so, with all his controversies, he was often referred to as an authoritarian by those who disagreed with him
