There is nothing more rejuvenating than being out in nature, soaking up the sunshine and reconnecting with the natural elements.

Our friends at @prana joined the @earthbound.trail crew for 4.5 mile trail run on coastal singletrack through one of the most well known trail systems in the area, and for good reason, Torrey Pines SP 🪨 Winding chaparral-lined descents, wildflowers still holding late blooms, and expansive golden views of La Jolla and beyond…this is one zone that feels like the full embodiment of what trail running is all about.

Huge thank you to @prana for outfitting the whole crew, giving us the opportunity to put these pieces to test with some early summer heat!

✨ Once in a Blue Moon ✨ illuminated by @knog with photos by @shotby.dp

A few weeks back, friends of dirt and lovers of trail came together for a 6.3 mi exploration in movement under a Full Blue Moon. A celestial happening occurring once every 2.5 years…guiding our intuition and providing energy for the path ahead, both physically, spiritually, and metaphorically.

A reminder for us of why we love moving on dirt. The feeling of play, wonder, and challenge that unify us all. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter how you get out there, just as long as you do, because it sure is beautiful out there.

Proof that you don’t need to venture far to find dirt, nor does it always have to be about pushing to the extremes. It can be an opportunity to play, to exist in the present moment. Thats the beauty of running on dirt, it’s bigger than just us…that what keeps us coming back 🫂
