🚨 Slow Roots at Artesian Bar

A celebration of Indonesia, one ingredient at a time. 🇮🇩

@artesianbarjakarta takes inspiration from the Slow Food movement for its latest menu, “Slow Roots”, putting local ingredients, producers, and creativity at the heart of the experience.

The menu explores ingredients from across Indonesia, while the wider program brings the concept to life through collaborations with local farms, producers, and artists.

We tasted our way through each chapter of Slow Roots with Singkong, Pandan, Kemboja, and Durian, each offering a different expression of familiar Indonesian ingredients through cocktails.

And because one more couldn’t hurt, we finished with the Tempe Martini from their Timeless Classics menu.

Come experience Slow Roots for yourself at Artesian Bar Jakarta.

Checking in… @langham_jakarta

Where the sophisticated European luxury and Indonesian opulence soar high in the heart of Jakarta’s buzzing business district.

The modern glass-covered building reflects its neighbouring towers on the outside, but on the inside, glamour and renowned world-class hospitality await.

The two-Michelin keyed hotel is celebrating its 5th anniversary this month with a series of spectacular events that include an epic guest shift by the award-winning @penicillin_bar from Hong Kong, exiting culinary takeovers and more.

Here’s a peek inside one of Jakarta’s most luxurious hotels…

The unmissable vintage car painted in ‘Langham pink’ is waiting like a chariot at the entrance.

Beyond the grand doors, a floor-to-ceiling marble lobby welcomes you to your palace in the city. The over-the-top Lasvit chandelier made of three thousand crystal butterflies glimmers at the center of the lobby, catching every bit of natural light that beams through the windows.

And this is just the beginning.

The elevator doors open to the grand main lobby with even higher ceiling, covered in even more marbles, with more crystal chandelier dripping over the center of the staircase. Accents of lush velvet and gold sprinkled around the room for some more luxury, in case you want some more.

And let’s be real, we all do 😉

Seamless check-in takes place in the exclusive Club Langham on the 59th floor.

Club Langham suite guests get access to complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, light dinner and dessert at the club. In the fridge, there’s always a selection of jamu, which was probably one of my favorite perks.

This is also a perfect place to get some work done, but I was on vacation… kind of?

Black and white houndstooth carpet for the entryways could be trippy at times but oh well, it’s very chic 😌

The Club Langham suite is beyond spacious.

The space is beautifully decorated with modern furniture, large flat screen TVs, a cozy living area that makes you never want to leave your suite, a dreamy marble bathroom and of course, a superbly

Pink, energetic, and full of good vibes! 🩷🏃

Last Sunday at the PinkRun 2026 was nothing short of incredible, kicking off the morning with an exciting run session through the city, crossing the finish line and celebrating with a well-deserved finisher breakfast, snapping endless photos at the iconic pink photo spots, keeping the energy high with an uplifting cardio dance session, and ending the event with thrilling doorprize moments that had everyone cheering.

A perfect combination of fitness, fun, community, and unforgettable memories that made our Sunday in Jakarta extra special. Until next year, keep running and keep shining! ✨🩷🔥

SLOW ROOTS 🫚🍌🌸🍀

Slow Roots at @artesianbarjakarta feels like a really fresh and thoughtful cocktail menu, but still easy to enjoy. The whole concept leans into Indonesian ingredients and local flavors, so the drinks don’t just taste nice — they also feel a bit more meaningful and memorable, especially with Artesian’s skyline view setting the mood 😍

With SLOW ROOTS, Artesian presents a new expression of cocktail culture, one where every sip tells a story of place, people and purpose. My personal fave from the new menu: Melati, Temulawak and Sereh 🤍
