Week 7 @fifthstreetcx Oracle scoring did not help my bid. I did hear the music was on point though. Big shout to @brightpathbrewing for post race libations. 🤙🏻 📸 @thegabelloyd

Helloooooo internet how in the world is it already October

Nothin’ new to show at the moment, but here’s a little looksie at the IRL @billystrings fall tour prints, perfectly printed by the pros at @axelradscreenprinting. I’d had a note in my sketchbook for years now that just said “biplane clusterf*ck”, wasn’t sure if that idea would ever manifest itself into a finished print… but here we are. Biplane clusterf*ck in all its realized glory.

Billy and co. has copies of these for sale at all upcoming tour dates, and I’ll have my APs available come December. Subscribe to the newsletter at LUKEMART.COM to stay in the loop on that. Thanks again to Haley + Ella + team Billy for the opportunity, it’s always the utmost pleasure!

Thanks for lookin’. See ya in Baltimore ✌️

Hey guys! Autumn 🍁 has finally here with October, my favorite month of the year. I haven't posted anything in a few months, but it’s been a really busy (and awesome) summer; Now that I’m fully back to work, here’s a proper post. Here is the diptych poster I created for the @billystrings 🤠🎸 concert held on August 28th and 29th at the @ioniafreakfair 🤡🤹🎪🎡 in Ionia, MI. This was a very special commission since Ionia is the Billy’s hometown, so I really wanted to rise to the occasion. The theme had to be circus inspired, featuring some of the most iconic "freak show" characters, the sword swallower, the contortionist, the strongman, and so on. I love fill my posters with crazy details, so I’m really happy with how this turned out. A lot of you have messaged me asking about this poster; I’ve got my artist copies here with me now, and I’ll be announcing the release here very soon, so please stay tuned. There will be regular and foil editions, and both parts of the diptych will be sold together, unfortunately, I won't have an uncut version available. I’ll be sharing more poster work soon, including a quick recap of my time at the Mile High Poster Show (by @trpsorg) in Denver CO on past august and a few other things. I hope you like today’s poster, thank you so much for following along 😉!

Flyin’ high into fall with new work for the one and only Cap’n Strings ✈️

Fourteen biplanes for fourteen cities, plus a big ol’ one for Billy to boot. Haven’t done a tour poster in a few years now, had a lot of fun getting lost in the sauce with alllllllllll of that type. Swipe thru to see some process action, plus a pretty cool layer-by-layer breakdown of the printing.

These will be for sale at every stop from Denver to Los Angeles to Baltimore, and I’ll have some APs down the line once the tour wraps up. Go sign up for the newsletter at Lukemart.com to stay in the loop with that!

THANKS ALL

@billystrings
