A Day in the City“.

𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 focuses on Jaramana in Syria, a city shaped by war and internal displacement. It shows part of an earlier exhibition in Damascus curated by Yara Alheswani, a researcher at the Department of International Urbanism. The exhibits present urban spaces, memories, and histories told through the voices of the city’s nonhuman elements. This unfamiliar perspective reveals how cities carry layered narratives of belonging and loss.

This work is part of an installation project titled “SUSPENDED.” Originally exhibited as a multimedia interactive installation in Damascus in 2023, it was later exhibited in Paris in 2026. Its narrative was published as a stand-alone book titled “Suspended: A Day in the City.

I am thrilled to announce that my short film has been officially selected for the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival 2026 in Canada.
This film tells one small story among the countless untold stories hidden within Assad’s prisons.
My deepest appreciation goes to the entire crew for their tremendous efforts.

⛓️ Exposition Urbaine ⛓️
