Overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity to explore, for the space to grow, for the chance to learn, for friends that sing me happy birthday at a grad dinner, for family that travels miles to see me and for a million more blessings that i forget to count every day. Alhamdilla ❤️

Still can't get over how much of a dream last Saturday was 🥰🍦 We sang, we danced and we had ice-cream to our hearts content. We even got to see some of our buddies perform on the local stage💓💃#SundaesOnThePier

One month of living in London - but this time as a working gal and not a student 😬 And how different it is!! From trekking across London with a whole fan that I bought off Fb marketplace (to save money ofc) and cycling home at 11pm with one hand holding my dress down and the other steering hoping my eggs don’t fall out my shopping bag - all because the tfl decided to give up on me. To reuniting with so many loved ones and discovering new parts of London that have deeply inspired me. It’s been one hell of a month to say the least and only those who come from somewhere else without family and finances to fall back on will understand the rollercoaster of emotions you can experience trying to create a life here. It’s definitely not easy, but somehow this city has a way of drawing me back in and I’m grateful to be here in this moment, soaking up all the love and creativity from my chosen London family who often take me in as their own. I came back for community and London always provides just that ❤️
