Carpenter Art Garden began in 2012 with a mission to make art accessible for all children. Since the initial purchase of land on Carpenter St. in Binghamton the Garden has grown and flourished into a community hub of possibility.
Houses once used to sell drugs now deal hope for the future.
Recently the garden expanded even further opening a greenhouse space and new plant beds to grow nutritious varieties of seasonally appropriate fruits and veggies for the community.

I know I’m late but wow…what a year and oh crap I forgot to mention I’m in college now lol whoops my bad regardless so much has happened this year and I thank God for an amazing first semester and a year I’ll never forget. I’ve gotten to do so much thanks to Him and He has blessed me with more than I could’ve ever asked for to being on the news, performing at the Smithsonian and getting accepted into Loyola University New Orleans but most importantly allowing me to see all 4 of my great grandparents alive with my last great grandma passing this year. I love you big granny, thank you for paving the way for my generation and the generations to come thanks to your hard work and sacrifices. Proverbs 8:22 “Before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Or ever the earth was.

My life has been immensely blessed by the birth of my sister, @ayanluv Her impact in my life and in the lives of others has not been without selfless sacrifice and lots of prayer, and that is why I celebrate her today! Happy Birthday, Yani! Love you, Sis!!

My last day in Mexico. 2024 was good to me! So many great highlights and awesome memories. Grateful to have been able to travel ✈️, see family and friends, starting my 2nd year teaching high school, serving my awrsome clients at the salon 💇‍♀️, being able to sell the house and downsize🏠; visiting St.Lucia🏖, Oregon🌲, California ☀️, and Puerto Vallarta🍹, having brunch with my Sorors 💗💚, long time friends reuniting in Atlanta, seeing my mom, seeing my niece graduate🎓 high school, hugging my "brudduh and sistake," having my kiddos home for the holidays🎄, ATVs, seeing the Pitons 🏞, releasing baby turtles to the sea🐢, and 🍇 grape stomping!! I'm blessed!

Our Hamp Holiday Bazaar at Hollywood Memphis was an incredible time to shop a selection of pieces crafted by our students, with something perfect for every art lover and collector. We even had Staff Art showcased by our Executive Director @anashadreams , Community Engagement Manager @tarlisa_treats & Program Director
