One Sunday, two venues, seven results 💜

At round 1 of the Hudayriyat Women’s Cycling Series, Zahra Hussain was the first Emirati home. That puts her in the white jersey as series leader. Marwa Salman was 37 seconds behind for an Emirati 1–2, and six of our riders finished in the Open top 12.

Over in Masfout, Ed Fearn won the 22 km Open Male race in 46:13. Álvaro Galindo took 3rd in the Elite 33 km, just 10 seconds off the win. Majid Albalushi won the UAE Male category, Chris Ferguson won M 40–49, and Romain Barbier took 3rd in the same category.

Thank you to @ayatgroupae, @binhadhergroup and @airwerkscycles for backing this team. 💜

Mleiha MTB Challenge 🏆

A win, and all five riders inside the Top 10.

It was a super-fast race for a mountain bike event, and the team rode it with real tactics. We controlled the front, worked for each other, and Alvaro Galindo finished it off with the overall win. Ed Fearn joined him on the podium in 3rd, followed by Romain Barbier (6th), Chris Ferguson (9th) and Janis Kienberger (10th).

1st · 3rd · 6th · 9th · 10th. That’s what teamwork looks like. 💜

Thank you to @ayatgroupuae and all our partners, and to Sharjah Sports Council and Shurooq for a brilliant event.

Season 5 with @ayatairwerks 💜

This year feels like a real step forward. Our Emirati teams have grown, our structures are stronger, and this season we carry the AYAT name with pride. Our expat squads keep thriving alongside them, and that mix is what makes this team what it is.

We’re ready for everything this season brings, the good days and the hard ones. Whatever comes, we’ll take it on together.

For me, the focus is the team: looking after our riders and making sure they have what they need to perform. Then, at the end of the year, a personal goal: Namibia and the Desert Dash. 400 km on the mountain bike, sunrise to sunrise.

Let’s go

Race 1 of the UAE Cycling Federation season — and a win to open it. 🏆

Amer took the Masters category today at Al Batayih, Sharjah, and finished in the Top 5 overall. The decisive move came on lap 3 of 5: Amer made the breakaway, and the break held all the way to the line.

The perfect start to the 2026/27 Federation season. Congratulations, Amer — and thank you to @ayatdevelopment @ayatgroupuae and all our partners for backing the team from race one.
