Delhi, it’s a wrap ❤️ God knows how scared I was not knowing if people are gonna show up for the Delhi event, we had so much on the line such a big event planned and we are so deeply grateful to the audience and everyone that attended and showed up. Some things are too precious to be packed away forever. These two saris belong to our mother, the eternal muse of Baksaa. Today they live on as dresses, worn by their daughters, in a completely new avatar, but carrying something that never really changes. For a mother, it’s seeing her sari become a part of her daughter’s life again. For a daughter, it’s getting to keep a little piece of her mother close, not tucked away in a box, but worn, lived in, and loved. Maybe that’s what we love most about upcycling at Baksaa. Giving the things we love another life, without letting go of the life they already held. And what better month to share this story than our birthday month. 🤍 Have a sari that deserves another life? Maybe it’s time to open your Baksaa💌
