10 years later… I returned to my high school as a VIP, business owner, and community partner. 🥹❤️

Last weekend, I had the honor of attending @nthstitans / @nthsathletics 2026 Homecoming VIP & Community Partners Experience. Returning to the same school that helped shape me, now as a woman building businesses and creating opportunities in my community, was such a full-circle moment.

One of the highlights was connecting with Baltimore County Councilman @julianjonesforbaltimorecounty about the growth happening throughout Owings Mills and Pikesville, and how I’m using Soigné Luxury Beauty Lounge to create employment, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunities for young Black and Brown women and others who are often underserved.

And can we talk about one of my best friends from high school - now Athletic Director, @gbanksjr_?! 👏🏽 We met at New Town, and watching him transform the athletic program has been incredible. From the organization and presentation to the school spirit and community involvement, I’m SO proud of the leader he’s become and the impact he’s making.

I also got to reconnect with former teachers, Principal James Martin, community partners, and my girls from my internship and mentorship program! Earlier this year, I returned to speak to students about entrepreneurship, and now some of those same students are gaining hands-on experience inside my businesses. 📶

There’s something special about returning to the place that helped shape you, not just to celebrate how far you’ve come, but to help create opportunities for those coming behind you.

I’m excited to continue building partnerships that strengthen our schools, support our youth, and create opportunities within our communities.
