One of my goals this year was to connect back to my core essence. I needed to remind myself what my name #KunbiBlack really stood for. I have always been first a creative before anything else and even when I get on board on extremely different projects, I still see that side come to play. I became all about the money and nothing more. I went too hard and took a really long break from creating anything (Radio/Tv content, Films, events etc). It began to cost me my peace and sanity. I never knew I could stay that long but I always knew I was far from fulfilled.

In sum, I just needed an introspection - those kind of honest conversations you have with yourself several times way past midnight. I concluded then that I had lost my true essence and I needed to connect back. Guess what? I'm back! And this time, there's no going back.

This is the year where the goal is to forget money chasing and focus on only things that brings us true happiness and peace no matter what! I have started creating again and I shot my first faith-based #shortfilm last week 📽️🎥 it's titled #SundayNight starring @gr8joi and @molawadavis and directed by @theadeniyijoseph

The synergy between our producer @kunbiblack and the director @theadeniyijoseph was second to none. The story was more than personal to both parties and they were equally able to transcend this emotive perspective to everyone on set. We made magic ✨✨
