Stop letting imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and writer’s block kick your ass. Your book doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be written. So go write that book, because there’s someone out there who needs the story only YOU can tell. 🔥📚📖 #bookstagram #indieauthor #authorlife #authorofinstagram #authorsofinstagram

Beyond giddy to share this next snippet. This one is from the OG muscle mommy herself @aykaywrites from her WIP Daughter of Bleeding Gods 💫💪🏽

Today we’re saying “Hard pass” on AI. We are celebrating the irreplaceable craft of human artistry. We don’t want soulless art. Give us art that is real, giggle filled, swoon- worthy, grief filled, and honest.

Support your local humans and give a shout out to your favorite human creatives today ✨

As an avid amateur cryptozoologist, this was so fun to make! So what’s your favorite cryptid and what does that say about you?

Thank you @author.milliejoy for the inspiration. This morning’s round of edits definitely lived up to your reel, so I thought I’d add my proof🫠

Currently working through developmental edits, which includes some light line level passes (because it’s impossible not to). I’m in the tail end of the novel, which happens to be the stuff I have re-worked the least coming into it. Which means it’s also the stuff that needs the most work.

Sometimes good. Sometimes, more often than not, shit ✨

From a new perspective.

Tarot cards are fascinating representations of the archetypes. So, here is a wild one for you.

To all my author friends, If your story could be described as a single stage in the hero's journey, what would it be? And which tarot card best depicte that stage?

Inspired by a post made by @aykaywrites I decided to ponder what books have made me (and the books I’ve written). So here goes. What books have you read?

What I’m working on: Coming October 2026, THE CIPHER OF TOLO, is a SciFi dystopian spy thriller starring a badass FMC who plans to infiltrate a spy organization to find out the truth about what happened to her parents. She just has to get in first…
