That's a wrap on our Summer 2026 season! While we take a well-deserved break until September, let's take a look back at our summer season of shows...

We kicked off with The Sweet Science of Bruising, which reviewers described as 'a sharp, powerful play, fuelled with drama and suspense' (and we would describe as 'badass').

Next, we had Labour of Love, AKA That Time We Almost Got Cancelled by the Council. Our posters clashed with election regulations, but after a bit of fiddling with the colour scheme, we had a good laugh at shifting loyalties and political upheaval in the Labour Party - in the play, of course.

Then we had a spot of tea and new writing with Everlasting Cake. Puppetry and live music brought a bit of sparkle to a retirement community who realised it was never too late to dream...

Venturing into the great outdoors, we staged the raucous romp that is Cluedo: The Play. Cast, crew and audience alike were able to top up their tans as they enjoyed this side-splitting spoof in Walpole Park - in a heatwave, no less!

Finally, we rounded out the season with Shakespeare's classic comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Performed by the graduating class of our Advanced Performance Course, we couldn't think of a dreamier way to end the summer.

We hope you enjoyed all of our shows this summer - and don't worry, we'll be back before you know it. Keep an eye on our socials for our next season announcement, and we'll see you very soon!

Do you want the set tour? Welcome to the time-travelling set of Labour of Love! Spanning 27 years, the play charts the story of the Labour Party from the fall of Thatcher to the rise of Corbynism (and back again) through the lens of one constituency, its beleaguered MP, and his long-suffering agent. Designed by the set wizard herself @juliettedemoulin

Take a look at some of the changes our set goes through and grab your tickets to see it for yourself!

So... you coming in or what?
