15 years of us✨

15 years of growing up together, figuring life out, navigating the unexpected, celebrating the beautiful moments, and holding onto each other through the hard ones.

When I think about our marriage, I don’t just think about the big moments. I think about the ordinary days, the laughter over absolutely nothing, the hate nights playing video games, the prayers we’ve prayed, the grace we’ve had to extend, and all the little moments that have made this life ours.

We’ve lived a whole lot of life in these 15 years, and through every high and low, God’s faithfulness has been the sweetest constant.

What a gift it is to love someone through so many seasons of life and to be loved through them, too.

Here’s to everything we’ve been, everything we’re becoming, and all the beautiful years we have yet to live.

Stop settling for cheap social media applause and people who only show up when your life looks clean and successful. Too many people are surrounded by a crowd of fans pretending to be friends, only to vanish the second things get dark, messy, or inconvenient.
True friendship isn’t a transactional arrangement for good vibes it’s a covenant. As Proverbs 17:17 reminds us, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” Real friends don’t just clap from the bleachers; they stand shoulder to shoulder with you in the trenches, defend your name when you aren’t in the room, and have the spine to look you in the eye with hard truth when you’re wrecking your own life (Proverbs 27:6).
If your inner circle is full of fair-weather fans who can’t handle the friction of real accountability, it’s time to upgrade your standard of brotherhood.
Drop a ⚡ if you’re done with fake loyalty, and tag a real one who stays in the room when it counts.

I was out touching grass, laughing with friends, eating really good food, kissing my nephews every chance I got, and watching an unhealthy amount of @bigbrothercbs

It’s easy to feel guilty for slowing down, but sometimes the most productive thing you can do is refill your life before you refill your calendar.
